Jordans’ bank of Companies House scanned images had clear value for their company formations clients. They enlisted the help of Desynit to offer this service on the Incorporator website and additionally to introduce Agile project management techniques to their team.

In addition they provide corporate compliance, property, legal, and information services to law and accounting firms, as well as organisations across other sectors.
Why did they need us?
Jordans business information division already provided key clients with access to their bank of Companies House document images. This image bank presented an obvious cross selling opportunity for Jordans’ company formations customers, who would also find this information valuable.
It was decided to showcase the service to customers via Incorporator, Jordans flagship company formation website. Jordans wanted clients to have a simple, integrated mechanism that enabled them to access, preview and order images.
With other development commitments tying up their own team, Jordans engaged Desynit to deliver the project within the timescales required. In addition Desynit would also offer an introduction to Agile project management techniques, after traditional waterfall methodology had not delivered the desired results.
What we did
Desynit led a series of Agile planning workshops at Jordans’ offices in Bristol. In this way the client had the opportunity to benefit Desynit’s experience in working with these techniques and importantly put this training into practice on the project.
Desynit led the project team in exploring the requirements and defining iterations for the development work. They were also able to work alongside the Jordans team in their interaction with the business stakeholders and external suppliers.
Finally the coding and testing for the solution was carried out with assistance from Desynit.
